Description
Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, the creator of hundreds of spirited instrumental works, is widely recognized as the master of the Baroque instrumental sonata, which he perfected and popularized more than any of his contemporaries. We have one of his great sonatas for you to play. There are performance notes about the work and also critical notes about the work. These are provided so that you can perform the work as it was intended many years ago.

When you order this book, it is in score format, you do not get parts for the individual instruments. Instrumentation for this work can vary. The top stave may be played by transverse flute, oboe, or violin. The second stave may be played by oboe, or violin. The third stave may be played by cello or bassoon. The last stave is for basso continuo. This stave does not list instruments. Basso continuo is a bass line that was improvised when the work was composed. Instruments that commonly play this are bassoon, bass clarinet, tuba, or any other low instrument in the family. "Antonio Vivaldi - Sonata RV 801" weighs 4.80 oz.
