Our book includes some original tunes and many short traditional ballads, dance tunes and folk tunes, along with a few classical pieces. They are all introduced as you learn the necessary notes and skills. Several rounds and duets are included. There is a dictionary of music terms, and one of rhythmic patterns. Information is included on holding and playing your instrument, as well as a fingering chart. A playalong CD is included with tracks for all of the songs and exercises. "Do It! Play In Band, Book 1 - Oboe" weighs 8.00 oz.
